Uniforms 2022/2023
UNIFORM DRESS CODE
Grades PRK-6th:
Navy blue jumper, skirt, skort or loose fitting cotton dress pants that fit at the waistline and must be worn with a belt. Plain white or light blue 3 button polo shirt (short or long sleeves) with a collar, tucked into pants. (Shirts are not to be form fitting. If wearing an undershirt, it is white.) Leggings are not uniform bottoms.
*The length for the jumper, skirt or skort* is to be no shorter than 1 inch from the knee.
Grades 7th-8th:
Khaki colored jumper, skirt, skort or loose fitting cotton dress pants that fit at the waistline and must be worn with a belt. Plain white or light blue 3 button polo shirt (short or long sleeves) with a collar tucked into pants. (Shirts are not to be form fitting. If wearing an undershirt, it is white.) Leggings are not uniform bottoms.

Grades PRK-8th:
Hair: Must be of natural looking color in order to decrease disruption to the learning day. Hair must be kept out of the eyes to remove any obstacles and ensure vision.
OPTIONS FOR ALL GRADE LEVELS
Mt. Greenwood sweatpants can be worn under jumpers or skirts during cold weather to and from school.
Uniform DRESS shorts may be worn in warm weather.
GIRLS & BOYS:
Sweaters: MTG fleece or MTG 1/4 zip pullover worn over uniform tops. Hooded sweatshirts are not permitted.
Plain white or light blue turtlenecks are acceptable.
GYM WEAR:
Girls & Boys: The gym uniform consists of a Mt. Greenwood T-shirt and MTG navy blue shorts or Mt. Greenwood sweats (no hooded sweatshirts) proper fitting gym shoes and socks. Gym uniform is only to be worn assigned gym day! Sport/team uniforms are not considered part of the MTG gym uniform.
SHOES & SOCKS
Any leather shoe or gym shoe is acceptable (toes and heels must be covered). Socks must be worn at all times. Students are to be in solid color white, blue or black socks or tights.
Flip-flops, sandals, crocs, moccasins/slippers and roller skate gym shoes are unacceptable. Boots may be worn to school but students must change into school shoes to be worn throughout the day.
NO DENIM PANTS, PANTS WITH STRIPES DOWN THE SIDE OF THE LEG, BREAKER OR NYLON WARM UP PANTS ARE PERMITTED.
Clothing that is torn / ripped is not permitted during the school day.
JEWELRY;
- Boys: Pierced earrings are not acceptable.
- Girls: Pierced earrings are acceptable. Hoop earrings cannot be larger than a quarter in diameter. No other body piercing is acceptable
